It's another week and this week I made the Anaïs undies, a Closet Core pattern from their recent pattern release.
I made the high waisted option B.
How did I get on?
Really well!
This is a lovely satisfying make and comes together really nicely.
The instructions were very clear and I picked up a tip on sewing FOE.
I made a lovely pair of substantial undies, I consider them my power undies!
For fit I did go up a size, I wanted them a little loose and the fit is perfect as they are not snug and have growing room! Perfect for me right now at eight months pregnant! If I make a non - maternity version I will probably size down the fit.
I used cotton jersey but they would be fabulous made from mesh or a mix of different coloured fabrics for the panels.
This pattern would also be great as bikini / swim bottoms.
I wholly recommend this pattern to lingerie sewing beginners!
